Overdraft Protection
Here at Section 705 FCU, we are all about helping our excellent members as much as we possibly can. That's exactly why we offer
two different types of Overdraft Protection.
Overdraft Protection can help you in a variety of ways. Using this service will enable you to avoid embarassing account overdrafts and returns, as well as costly fees that come along with overdrafting your account! We offer two different types of Overdraft Protection for your convenience:
- Overdraft Protection By Loan is a line of credit, which can only be accessed when the checking account has been overdrawn.
- Overdraft Protection From Savings allows the transfer of funds from your Regular Share account Super Green or second savings account or even a totally separate account number to cover any overdrafts.
As a member, you may elect to have both overdraft options. However, the line of credit will always be accessed first. Once the line has reached its maximum and Overdraft Protection from Savings has also been elected, funds will be transferred (if they are available).
