Overdraft Protection

Avoid embarrassing account overdrafts and returns by selecting Overdraft Protection. Section 705 FCU offers two overdraft protection options.

Overdraft Protection By Loan is a line of credit, which can only be accessed when the checking account has been overdrawn.
Overdraft Protection From Savings allows the transfer of funds from your Regular Share account to cover any overdrafts.

As a member, you may elect to have both overdraft options. However, the line of credit will always be accessed first. Once the line has reached its maximum and Overdraft Protection from Savings has also been elected, funds will be transferred (if they are available).
